As a protégé of the hair color pioneer and legend, Sam Lapin, Dennis honed his skills at a young age. This led him to collaborate with industry icons in 17 countries and work with leading hair color manufacturers not only in education but also in product development. In fact, he played a significant role in developing some of the most renowned hair color brands in the salon industry.
In addition to his extensive industry experience, Dennis and his wife own and operate a successful salon and spa called Hair Color Guru in Southern California. This hands-on experience lends authenticity to his training methods.

Dennis expanded his expertise in the hair color industry by acquiring extensive training in industry education and facilitation. Driven by his unwavering dedication, Dennis contributed significantly as one of the key architects of the world's leading liquid demi brand's educational model. In 2010, Dennis joined a hair color company considered a leader in the Netherlands, where he took on the role of their National Educational Training Consultant.
Capping his notable journey, he founded his own consulting company in 2014, known as Guru Village, which prides itself on being a "brand-neutral" educational institution.
